Sunday in Silver Lake

Hello all, it has been a while since I have been able to squeeze some time into posting, I always seem to "find" time when I'm supposed to be studying. Today has been a pleasant afternoon. I woke up early and went to church with some people, while Gustavo went to work. We then met up for some lunch at Sunnin, an exquisite lebanese restaurant, and enjoyed each others company. After all that delicious food everyone wanted to nap, so they did, while I watched an episode or two or three of FRIENDS :)
I decided it was high time for me to get started on my midterm paper, so I drove to Silver Lake to try out a new cafe, The Lyric. As soon as I walked into the shaded patio I saw Nate and Lisa from Doom and Gloom, former Castledoor members and decided that I was going to get up the courage to talk to them (after I get my coffee). Needless to say, it was a poor decision to get the coffee first, while I'm ordering inside I see them walking away and my chance to ever meet them fly right out the window, darn!

I WISH I could stay in LA and explore all day long, visit coffee shops and read for pleasure. I wish I had time for all that, I realize that my life is passing by me so quickly I am only fixated on work, work, work for money, money, money. And I HATE HATE HATE that, I don't want that to be my life.
I've also been trying to figure out school/work stuff when I move back to Santa Barbara and then work, real work stuff when I move back in December after I graduate. Keep me in your prayers.
