After church today a few friends and I drove to a thrift store and spent an hour perusing the junk and they were slightly over priced, but the books, the books were great! Buy one get one free, I got 8 books for $8, what a deal. I found a classic Alice in Wonderland book that I can't wait to read.
Can't wait to finish these finals so I can watch Breakfast at Tiffany's.
“You’re afraid to stick out your chin and say, ‘Okay, life’s a fact.’ People DO fall in love. People do belong to each other. Because that’s the only chance anybody’s got for real happiness. You call yourself a free spirit, a wild thing, yet you’re terrified that somebody’s gonna put you in a cage. Well, baby, you’re already in a cage and you built it yourself”
oh yes! i never saw the end of pretty in pink & have been wanting to finish it for a long time. my very favorite part in the movie (of what i have seen) is when the two main characters spend the day doing things they have never done before (like going to a library & shoplifting). so cute & so fun!
ReplyDeletegood luck this week! i'm just entering dead week here at my university (i still have to tell you where it is! email me? dandelion.lina@yahoo.com). ugh. i just want it all to be over!

I LOVE Alice in Wonderland, especially the original (non-Disney) illustrations! UO has some lovely plates and glasses with them - I bought all the glasses for my sister a few Christmases ago. They are back in stock, along with a bunch of other cute stuff!
